Joint seminar for new Members of National Boards

The joint Seminar for new Members of National Boards will be held from 24-28 November in Istanbul, Turkey

The seminar is open to new members of National Boards (less than 18 months since appointment/election), prospective members of National Boards likely to be appointed/elected within 12 months by the end of the seminar, and members of National working groups/teams.

The seminar will provide new and potential members of National Boards in Guiding and Scouting Associations an opportunity to develop key skills and competences that will help them to be effective and to have confidence in their new role.

The programme will particularly be focused on

• Fundamental areas of organisational management, such as project management and volunteers’ management.
• Strategic leadership
• Strategic planning
• Succession planning
