Despite passing four months since the tragedy, Portuguese Girl Guides remain ready and willing to take action to make the world a better place, helping the communities in Haiti.
The Girl Guides of Portugal has joined forces with the International Solidarity Club, the Embassy of the Dominican Republic of Portugal and FUDECO-Save the Children to collect essential supplies for an orphan camp in Haiti.
The Portuguese Guides helped selecting the donations collected from several schools. Currently there are 1,500 children living in hospitals on the border between Haiti and the Dominican Republic.
